In 1974, Saarbrücken attorney Dr. Richard Thalhofer acquired a sole practice that had already been established for 30 years and continued to expand it. In 1983, the firm’s headquarters were moved to its current beautiful location on the banks of the Saar (Geibelstraße/am Staden).

After the untimely death of attorney Dr. Thalhofer in 2016, attorney Hans-Georg Herrmann continued the firm Dr. Thalhofer Herrmann & Kollegen.

In doing so, he placed the focus on German-French legal matters and advising French clients in Germany.

In the summer of 2025, Mannheim attorney Dr. Christian Herbert acquired the firm and integrated the offices in Mannheim, Paris and Saarbrücken into the firm “LEXPERIANS Dr. Thalhofer Herrmann Dr. Herbert”.
